Previous experience at Commis Chef level is essential, ideally within a 4 or 5 star operation. Previous experience of catering for large scale conference and banqueting would be an advantage.<br />
The successful candidate will be a strong team player but also have the initiative to work on their own. You will be able to lead by example, have excellent attention to detail and be service orientated. You will be approachable and dedicated to ensure that the highest standards are achieved.<br />

<p>Organization of Tourism &amp; Hotel Management (OTHM) is an internationally recognized institution that offers hospitality qualifications in the UK and overseas. There are more than 40 centers in London offering tuitions for these courses. Students that qualify the Certificate and Diploma would be eligible to transfer to UK for the OTHM Higher Diploma, or into the second year of the Degree in Tourism and Hospitality of the London South Bank University.</p>
<p>Further, it is expected that students whilst doing the OTHM higher Diploma qualification in the UK, they would get the necessary work experience in local hotels.</p>
<p>University College of Islamabad has opted for a combination of lectures, discussion and in-class assignments. It is expected that students will read the recommended textbooks and practice questions as per course requirements. UCI will make available copies of the OTHM lecture notes prepared by OTHM. Each module will consist of 2 lectures of 1.5 hours per week.</p>
